About the role
Summer Students will assist experienced CFI Surveyors in cultural field surveys related to Haida Land Values, Archaeology, and Forest Ecology as they relate to Haida Culture. Students will learn how to conduct transects, record field data, and assist with basic report writing while gaining hands-on experience with forest navigation using a compass, iPad, and maps. This position also includes participation in safety training and staff meetings while working as part of a field team.
